In a 30-year profession, Usher has been many issues — an R&B prodigy, a history-minded technician, a professional crossover pop star, an EDM experimenter and currently, a consummate showman with a Las Vegas residency that prompted untold viral movies of a performer terribly comfy together with his presents.
And but Usher, 45, has lengthy felt curiously undervalued, which maybe explains why it’s only now that he has been provided what is perhaps music’s largest stage: the 2024 Tremendous Bowl halftime present. (He was a guest during the 2011 show.)
